Duties

• Organization and input of field and laboratory data via gINT.
  
• Interface and coordination of illustrative material for reports.
  
• Maintain and organize catalog of standard illustrations/plates.
  
• Perform and assist with laboratory testing of soils and concrete.
  
• Perform and assist with construction services involving field sampling and compaction testing.
  
• Organize and maintain project files to assure easy access of information as needed.
  
• Assist outside offices with all the above duties.
  
• Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Currently enrolled in or completed an accredited college-level Civil Engineering program and able to work part-time in Santa Barbara.
  
• Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel software.
  
• Working knowledge of gINT software, or ability to learn quickly.
  
• Working knowledge of Correl-Designer software, or ability to learn quickly.
  
• Computer literate with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Highly organized and able to work within deadlines.
  
• Work well independently and with others.
  
• Possession of a valid California Driver's license, and an acceptable driving record.
  
• Completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
