Duties
- Prepare proposals
- Present proposals
- Select project teams
- Supervise project development and marketing
- Make project design decisions
- Supervise project team
- Work closely with client, which may include selection of contractors and monitoring construction.
Requirements
- M.S. Hydrogeology, Geology, or related field with minimum 10 years experience.
- Certification in the state of California as a Hydrogeologist.
- Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, specialty data acquisition, and ground water modeling.
- Complete knowledge of hydrogeology, and the various testing procedures.
- Excellent communications skills, including written and verbal.
- Excellent ability to facilitate teamwork.
- Proficiency in project management is required.
- The individual will be expected to be a leader for the group, and set an example consistent with Fugro’s standards.
- Monitor group utilization to meet annual goals.
- Monitor and manage to minimize write offs.
- Be a well rounded individual, able to provide creative and practical solutions to meet the client’s needs.
- Excellent problem solving skills: ability to resolve both technical and personnel issues relevant to the job.
- Normal office conditions with extended periods of standing and working at a computer.
- May be working in the field up to 20 percent of the time.
- Occasional bending and lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Travel required.
- Possession of a valid California Driver's license
- Applicants must complete a pre-employment drug screen.
