Responsibilities
- Ability to perform fieldwork on hazardous waste sites
- Ability to conduct environmental assessments and assist in data reporting
- Soil, soil-gas, and groundwater sampling, sample handling, and documentation as part of hazardous materials site assessment and remediation activities
- Data compilation, evaluation, and assisting with project execution, including engineering analysis and report preparation
- Assisting other staff and disciplines to ensure that commitments to clients are met; the ability to complete getotechnical sampling services is a plus
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- B.S. in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related field; M.S. preferred
- At least 4 to 6 years of experience preferred
- HAZWOPER certification preferred
- Must be proficient with computer software and applications
- Must have excellent communication skills, including grammar
- Able to work in a team environment to maintain good working relations with staff and clients; excellent interpersonal skills
- Possession of a valid California Driver's license, and an acceptable driving record
- Applicants must complete a pre-employment drug screening
