Position Description
Fugro West, Inc., is recruiting Staff, Project, Senior, and Associate geotechnical engineers in all our offices. An educational background and experience that includes at least a BS degree in Civil Engineering and an emphasis on Geotechnical Engineering, is required. An MS degree in geotechnical engineering and an engineering license is an advantage. Your personal combination of education, experience, and professional interests will guide your placement on the Fugro team!

Fugro West engineers are working on local, regional, and international projects and are actively involved in all aspects of project execution, budgeting, field logistics, engineering analysis, reporting, construction observation and client interactions.

Fugro engineers need to have excellent interpersonal skills that include the ability to work effectively with peers, subordinates, and superiors. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Quality and Safety are keys to Fugro’s business practice and all employees support continuous improvement of the company's processes including the Fugro West, Inc., Safety and Quality Management Systems.

Our pre-employment process includes a California Driver's License and driving record check, a physical exam, and drug screen.
