Responsibilities
- Assisting with project execution, including field logistics, subcontract management, engineering analysis and report preparation.
- Performing field activities including site reconnaissance, soil and rock exploration, insitu testing and geophysical surveys, and construction observation services.
- Supporting the geotechnical department and assisting other staff and ensuring that commitments to clients are met.
- Performing other as needed geotechnical related activities as assigned.
- The individual must have the ability to make geotechnical recommendations.
Requirements
- B.S. Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, M.S Preferred
- 1 or more years of experience preferred.
- Proficient with computer and familiar with MS Office as well as geotechnical softwares.
- Understanding and knowledge of soils and various testing procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, including grammar and report writing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork.
- Possession of a valid California Driver's license, and an acceptable driving record.
- Applicants must complete a pre-employment drug screen.
