The Downtown Parking Structure consists of a new 3-story parking building with 301-parking stalls. Fugro's services for this project included:

• a pre-construction geotechnical investigation,
• construction earthwork observation and testing services, and
• construction special inspection and testing services.

The earthwork observation and testing services were performed during the mass grading (re-working and re-compaction of the soils below all footing foundations) and preparation of the building pad subgrade, trench backfill, and new pavement construction.

The special inspection and testing services consisted of construction inspection and materials identification, sampling, and testing during the following construction operations:

• reinforcing steel placement,
• concrete placement,
• masonry wall placement,
• structural steel shop and field welding,
• structural steel high strength bolting, and
• epoxy bolt and dowel placement operations.
