Central Lafayette is undergoing a downtown renaissance, creating a vibrant downtown shopping and services center for the community. C & H Development chose Fugro to provide geotechnical services to the Lafayette Town Center project because of their proven cost-effective approaches, responsiveness, and local community involvement.

Fugro efficiently helped the design team solve a number of geotechnical problems including expansive soil, old fill from environmental remediation at the former county corporation yard, and a buried creek with liquefiable soil that bisected the site. Fugro followed the project through construction and is proud to be part of this new focal point of Lafayette.
