Various San Jose Unified School District Projects, San Jose, California
Fugro provided special inspection services for the modernization of John Muir Elementary School, Peter Burnett Middle School, Leland High School, and Benjamin Cory Elementary School. Our scope of work for these four schools in the San Jose Unified School District included

• Reinforcing steel material identification, sampling, and testing,
• Sampling and testing of concrete,
• Shop fabrication and welding inspection of structural steel,
• Inspection of field erection of structural steel, and
• Anchor bolt proof/ torque load testing.
• Earthwork and foundation observation and testing subgrade pad preparation, underground utility trench backfill, and placement of aggregate base and asphalt concrete.
