Ventura Harbor and Ventura Keys Dredge Program, Multibeam Surveys, Ventura Harbor, Ventura
Fugro conducted repeated multibeam bathymetric surveys of the inner Ventura harbor and interior "keys" channels for the purpose of proposed pre-dredge evaluation, and during dredging for quantity removal monitoring. Dredge quantities and detailed bathymetric charts were required at regular progress intervals. Fugro's Vessel, the Julie Ann was mobilized from Ventura, with the following survey equipment: Pos/MV inertial navigation system, Geoswath GeoAcoustics multibeam sensor, and Odom Sound Velocimeter. Data was checked for quality in the field, and post-processed in the Ventura office.
